NEEL-TRIMARANS founded and managed by Eric Bruneel, specializes in the design and construction of innovative luxury cruising trimarans at their base in La Rochelle where they have access to the best materials, equipment, and service suppliers.
NEEL-TRIMARANS are built using the best suitable materials and techniques to achieve strong, rigid and light constructions. The hulls, bridge deck, and superstructure are sandwich constructions – fiberglass with PVC foam cores vacuum bonded using Isophthalic Polyester Resin. The interior bulkheads and furniture are also constructed this way and together with collision bulkheads all ensuring that the boats are unsinkable.
The sails and rigging are designed and built locally by multihull specialists and the boats are designed to be easily handled by a small crew.
In 2020 NEEL-TRIMARANS introduced a new brand – power trimarans. LEEN-TRIMARANS are eco-friendly motor trimarans with unique lines and a strong character.

the revolution of cruising trimarans
NEEL-TRIMARANS revolutionized the cruising trimarans by bringing the main accommodation out of the hulls and up onto the main deck, on one level with the cockpit. The modern and luxurious interior inspired by loft-style apartments works really well. The brands’ registered trademarks are; Cockloon® – the open space living area comprising the salon and cockpit, Full Beam Cockpit® – a wide aft cockpit across the width of the boat, Antireflex Windows® – a new style of deck salon windows.
The performance under both sail and engine is outstanding. On passages one can regularly sail at 10 knots or more, easily achieving 200 nm in 24 hours. The trimaran’s configuration facilitates sustained speed under motor propulsion. The low prismatic coefficient of the central hull means drag is very weak. The side floats are only very lightly in contact with the surface of the water.
NEEL-TRIMARANS are certified according to European CE standards by the French Institute for Nautical Certification and Standardisation (ICCN).
